Getting Ready for Abigail's Arrival

Here are some misc Pictures of the work we've been doing to the house, pray we are finished before Abigail gets here!

This will be the baby's room. Sorry for the spots, I must need to clean off my camera lens. Sam wanted to do two different browns in this room. So one is a khaki color and the other is a light cocoa color. I think it's going to look cute with all the pink and green stuff.

Abigail's room again, this is after we have pulled all of the carpet up in the rooms.

Here is Sam painting the trim in the guest bedroom/office. We did the whole thing in the light khaki color. It really has turned out great! Sam's doing a really good job on everything. Poor thing it's been a lot of work to do in a short time. The floor under the carpent in this room happened to be this hideous linoleum.

Here are some decorations Whitney made for my shower. I am thinking about putting them in the baby's room as decor. But I'll see once we're a little bit closer to the decorating part.

Sorry the picture's are a little haphazard, it's just how I uploaded them. This is a headband that Sis. Heidi Coburn made for little Abigail. She made a ton of them. They are so sweet!

Here is a black one she made to go with one of the dresses she got us.

Here is the dress, Heidi gave us a ton of cute dresses too.

Ok back to the work part. Here is Sam on the flooring (yuck) in the guest room. Can't wait till we get the new carpet in.

Our lovely harwood flooring in the Master bedroom. After Sam got the carpet up in here, he decided that we needed to redo the walls too.

Here is his DIY mudwork. We're going to paint the khaki color in here too, and do the trim in a cream color.

More mudwork.

Hardwood floors in the baby's room. you can see the contrast of the two colors really well in this picture.

Sam was trying to see what the new carpet would look like with the walls in the Guest Room.

First run for the trim in the Guest Room.

The ceilings in the Baby room and guest room. Bro. Jerry and Sis. Roxie stomped them and mudded both rooms and repaired sheetrock in both rooms. They really look great. I wish we could do it throughout the entire house.
