What happens when Daddy does your Hair

My Poor Baby, Daddy gave Abby a bath, and look what he did to her poor hair!! lol Don't worry Mommy fixed it back soon after this picture was taken.

Baby Dedication

Today was a great day at church. We had communion first this morning, and then Abigail's dedication afterward. Her daddy spoke for a moment on what a blessing this little one is, and then Pastor helped us dedicate her. This is us telling God that we understand that this was a gift from Him, and that we acknowledge that she truly belongs to Him. After seven years, and with much prayer from Samual and I, and many, many others, God finally saw fit to give us a child. But though he has entrusted us with this gift, we understand that Psalm 127:3 "Lo, children are a heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward." And we will do all that we can to teach her His truth and His ways! So that one day we may say 3Jn 1:4 "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth."

Prayer for the family.

Mom and Dad and Baby Abigail, she was really good the whole time. I was suprised she never cried. Of course she stayed asleep the whole time too...lol

She'll know that you must have a Pastor in your life.

Her first Bible.

Abigail's First Trip to Church

Here are some pictures from Abigail's first trip to church. She also got to go on her first trip that Sunday night to Vidalia, to hear her daddy preach. We had an awesome move of God at Bro. Hall's church, and she didn't hear much preaching, but the Spirit of the Lord moved mightily. Of course she slept through it, and for that I guess I am thankful. Lol. We were so excited to bring her out on her first trip to church. We would like for her even at this age to realize the importance of being faithful to the house of God, and our prayer is that she will somehow see that example in us.
Pro 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Daddy's Little Girl all Bundled up for a cold night, to go hear daddy preach.

First Church Service, again all bundled up. I guess that's what happens when you're a December Baby.

Sugar doesn't want to feel left out.

She loves her hands to be in her mouth that is.

Grammie and Abby.

Trying to get a picture with Dad, Grammie and Abby, but Sugar does not want to be left out.

My First Christmas Bear from Shawanda!

They gave us this huge stocking at the hospital since she was there so close to Christmas, so we tried to take a picture of her in it. She didn't like that too much!

More Pictures

Hey everyone this is Ashley. I will try to post as many pictures as I possibly can here, so everyone can get a glimpse of our little miracle. This has truly been the best Christmas! I am so thankful for all of the blessings that the Lord has given to us, however undeserving, He is so great, and I am truly thankful! It is so good to be home now after our extended stay at the hospital. Abby was actually discharged before I was, due to the fact that I had pneumonia. But praise God we are home, and have been spending some wonderful time with our new little family. I told Samual that I was thankful for all of his posts, but people want to see more pictures. And more of the baby...lol so I will try to oblige, and put what I can on here.

I just love all of her different faces, she makes some of the funniest ones. I still can't figure out who she looks more like, and they change so much over time. I think she looks more like her daddy and acts like her momma. So, we'll need much prayer...lol

Here in here little layette.

Funny face. They were taking her blood pressure. (See the tiny cuff there on her leg) She wasn't too happy when they messed with her though.

Chubby Cheeks

Streching that neck, she can already lift her head up pretty well by herself. She's kind of stubborn that way.
