Almost 4 Months/Crawfish Boil Pictures
Here are some recent pictures of Our First Crawfish Boil of the Season, and Abigail's first baby food eating attempt. She will be Four Months old in a few days, and I decided to let her taste some solid food. She did pretty well it was Banana's and she ate the entire container! Can't believe how time is flying. There are also some random pictures we took of her in the past few days.
Crawfish Pot...mmmmm
I don't normally wear gloves when I'm eating crawfish, because I like that "real crawfish eating experience". However, I have a little one who I didn't want to get spices on so it worked out for the best really.
I had to hurry and eat all of these before Abigail woke up....It almost worked.
Yum Yum
Here she is just hanging out outside, it was so nice out, and she loves it outside. She had on her John Deere socks that Bro. Will got her! lol
Hey "Can I have a crawfish?"
Okay this will do I guess...
Barrels full of Crawfish!
Here we are at our first baby food attempt, she actually ate more than she wore! I was very suprised. She loved them.
MMM Pureed Bananas
She REALLY liked them...lol
Getting ready for Crawfish
Okay now here are some random pictures we snapped the last few days. She's such a Ham!
She just talks and talks and talks...she must get that from her Daddy!
Teething already!
They both had a rough day!

11 Weeks Old- Car Pictures
On our trip home from SC, I took some pictures of Abby and played with the images on the camera to see how they would look. I am no photographer by any means, but it was fun and here are some pictures from the trip and when we got home. I know there is a ton, but it was a long trip, and I had to find something to do. :)
First Trip to SC
Abigail took her first trip to South Carolina to visit with family and friends. I am such a horrible picture taker and these are the only pictures I took the whole time. I have got to get better at this. We had a really great time, and she was very good on the trip there and back:)

Who am I feeding?

A Cherokee Legend
An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. "A fight is going on inside me," he said to the boy.
"It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego." He continued, "The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Grandfather, which wolf will win?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."
Job 5:2 For wrath killeth the foolish man, and envy slayeth the silly one.
Romans 1:29-32 "And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them."
God won't contend with man always, but we can see here that eventually he will give us over to a reprobate mind, he will give us over to what we desire if we refuse to be obedient to him. We must feed the Spirit of God that dwells within us, and do what pleases Him regardless of what we feel like doing. Be renewed in the Holy Ghost daily through repentance, prayer and the Word, so that your faith will grow in Him.
Tit 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Am I feeding the Spirit or my flesh?

Winter 2011- Almost 8 Weeks Old
It has been cold a nasty here in CENLA these past few days, so we've just been staying inside keeping warm mostly. Aunt Tammy and Uncle Tim sent Abby some sweater dresses and tights, that are just too cute. We went to church last night and put her in one of the outfits they got her. The hat looks handmade, it's a little too small, but it is too cute!! She was not at all happy about us waking her up to get her dressed for church. LOL She finally calmed down and we got a few pictures.

A little calmer.

My chubby faced girl.

Kind of smiling :)
